turning complex ideas into memorable stories for national attention

Prior to Yale, Jenny reported on complex scientific research for publications such as The Atlantic and The New York Times. She has received numerous grants and awards for her work on issues facing including from the DC Humanities Council, Vox Media, PRX, the Davis Projects for Peace, the Journalists in Aging Fellowship Program and others. In 2025, Jenny led communications strategy for CT Tenants Union’s Just Cause campaign, which sought to pass legislation that would protect tenants from unlawful evictions.

In an age where AI puts first pen to paper, Jenny brings a unique sensitivity to her work and refines content to connect on a human level. She studied under MacArthur Genius Fellow Heather McHugh for her master’s degree in poetry and performs in residence as an improviser at Sea Tea Comedy Theater in Hartford, Connecticut. 

Based in Connecticut, with roots in Washington, D.C., Austin, Texas, and Shanghai, China, Jenny specializes in communicating across borders.
